Bern who specializes in Japanese, black and grey and graffiti style tattoos is working out of Daredevil now. We are very pleased to welcome Bern to the crew. Bern works on a lot of large scare Japanese style tattoos and has a background in graffiti. Bern also enjoys black and grey style work including portraits, both pet and human. Remember if you're getting a portrait try to find the clearest picture you have for us to work from. Snapshots don't work as well as professionally shot or at least well lit photos. The better the picture you bring us the better your portrait tattoo will turn out. |

Our good friend Dale May shot at Daredevil for the Time Out New York Food and Drink awards. Local chefs were photographed with tattoos designed by Daredevil and Fun City tattoo artists, Michelle Myles, Beau Brady, Big Steve, John Raftery and Mina Aoki. The drawings were applied to the chefs digitally by Dale. Each "tattoo" was a reference to that chefs specialty. |

His mom struck a deal with him, saying “If I bring you to get a tattoo, this will be the only one you ever get!” Brad still remembers his mom shaking her finger at him as they walked into the shop. “That was 1985,” he said. “I’m not even sure why I got a tattoo.
